I've never uploaded pictures before using the url method and I would like to share a couple of pics of buildings that I have created using deled.

problem is I don't know anything about URL. URL is just an address is'nt it?
sorry to sound very noob about it. but if someone could help i'd appreciate it.

URL means Uniform Resource Locator. It is used to point to a file that is stored somewhere in a directory on a server. An URL can point to a web-page, to a picture, to sound or script files, to anything infact. Smile

Well.. If you want to upload a pic using the URL method, you have to make sure that you picture is available on the internet (somewhere in a directory on a server). You have to store it somewhere. You can go to www.imageshack.us and upload your picture. When you have done that, you will get an URL that points to the picture. Then you can add the URL to the post by using the IMG tag and you're done.

Good luck Wink

I recommend using photobucket instead of image shack. You can maintain an account and have a bunch of folders and stuff, with permanent galleries. With image shack, it's just a quick place to dump random images.

Your buildings and houses look really good. I recommend you too to have a Photobucket account, like Daaark said, cause your pictures will be pretty organized in case you want to use them for other purposes in the future. Smile

And try to edit your posts instead of having 2 post in a row. Wink

Those look great. If my webhost hadn't screwed up and formatted the hard drive that houses all my databases, you could use my photo album to upload images. There's a thread around here offering it. Can't at the moment tho, as all my websites are down.
