To celebrate my 500th post i am going to give away a DeleD PRO license. But I don’t know to who, so I’m giving a compo to all DeleD LITE users to win a DeleD PRO license!

participants at this moment:

Santutatu
Andreas233223
Tincho07
Fik
Frans-v
Blupy (stopped?)
Jos-v

------------------------------------

You scene has to be:

An Ancient Temple!

Rules:

- the contest will end February the 15th.
- there is no poly limit.
- Texture’s aren’t necessary
- Own design can be used, but reference may also be used.
- You’ll have to show some concept art if you choose to make your own design, otherwise you’ll have to show the reference you used.
- I will pick the winner
- Send your scene before Fabruary the 15th to danielleeuw [@] hotmail [dot] com
- Post your screenshots in this forum, where they can also be discussed.
- The last screenshot of the scene you posted will be used as entry. (and the last can’t be after January the 15th.) no screenshot in this thread will mean no entry = no prize.
- only lite members can enter the contest! (but if some pro members want to participate too, no problem! the only thing is that you can't win the license)
- you don't have to send the lightmaps with the scene, but i do need the lightsources so i can lit it myself.

Things that will make your winning chance bigger!:

- adding good texture’s, worse texture’s will make your winning chance smaller.
- Good use of polygons, if you create a box with 200 poly’s it isn’t a good use of poly’s.
- Own design!
- exterior and Interior! (no furniture (except maybe some torches and a throne?)
- A good design.

Note: if your scene is bigger then 10mb split it up, like the scene and the texture’s in a different email. But the best thing is to keep your scene beneath 10mb.

If you send your email I would like the title like this:

[forum name] : Elementrix compo entry.

Question can be asked in this topic.

Now let’s build some magnificent Temples!! The bigger the better.

Edit: i typed january the 15th Embarassed , but it is FEBRUARY the 15th

Nice Idea I hope to get time to enter this one. Didn't manage to find time for Xmas one.
Elementrix- A couple of questions.
Do you have 7zip? As i have found DXS files compress really nicely with this.Have compresed a file from 26M to 1.6M ideal for sending files as my broadband upload speed is quiet slow.
If it is textured does the UVing have to be done in DeleD?

Santutatu- wow that was fast work.Good start Very Happy

7zip? no but i do have .zip, you can just send the .zip file.

Yes it has to be uv-mapped in deled, because it's a deled compo. But if you do in in another program i will probaply not notice but i hope you guy's are fair.

EDIT: if you have a link to download 7zip for free so i can download it, then yes you can use it for file compression.
EDIT:EDIT: I just downloaded 7-zip, so you will be able to use that for your file compression Wink
