Hi all,
Is it possible to draw a polygon with 2 sides having texture?
(We usually draw a polygon with 1 side having texture. If we look from another side, the texture disappear)
Thanks in advance. |

Yes, this is possible. You have an option for that on the Create Rectangle dialog. Otherwise, you can make polygons two-sided the following way:
Extract the polygons you want to make 2sided or, if it's the entire object, copy it.
Select all polygons and use the "flip" command. (note: polygons, not faces)
merge the two objects
select all vertices, select 'weld' and enter a small value like 1 or 2.
Now, the polygons have 2 sides on which you can manipulate the textures. _________________ Behold! The DeleD Wiki! Please help us expanding it

That's a nice and fast way to achieve that particular result, Fletcher! |

Yes i think you have duplicate your polygone or make one poly with only one side.
If only one side :
Select your object
Push SPACE barre to duplicate
Select polygone mode and one polygone
Click on flip
So you have two objet with texture and you can merge
never union on polygon _________________ Formation gratuites

Or, as an alternative, you could disable culling (F5) to see both sides of single-sided polygons. |
