Truly amazing work. You've captured the atmosphere really good there, harper. Love the little chapel you put in with the graveyard. Can't wait to see the west of meinheym next time! _________________ Check out Figuro, our online 3D app! More powerful 3D tools for free. |

Wouldn't want to meet that monster anywhere, that's for sure. Looks to me that monster could tear that house apart easily.
Excellent work there yet again harper - I'm eagerly awaiting your next movie!
Edit: I added your movies to the DeleD youtube channel too. _________________ Check out Figuro, our online 3D app! More powerful 3D tools for free.

You like that dark atmosphere in that building?
Here is more of it. It takes much patience to create such lighting,
but i think it's worth to tune it that little bit:
And more to come. Think about to "craft" someting at this place.... |

Awesome stuff really. I'd like to put a few of these in the gallery if you don't mind? _________________ Check out Figuro, our online 3D app! More powerful 3D tools for free. |

I am sad to tell you, beloved community,
that i am short before quitting my project. On my computer is now the "GetGo"-Problem, and i must re-install it. The problem is, Soconne, the holder of the keys for Freeworld3D is not answering anymore. And without this i cannot develop my project any further. I tried to start all new with (for newest example) Unitiy3D, but i dont get familiar with it; like all other game/world-editors. I am an artist - not a programmer.
Having in mind only to produce still background-images and baking in some sprites and adding a kind of "GUI" my pipeline was okay. Now it's broken.
Before i get in a new editor, my work is suspended.
Another problem is occured in the same time: I am not be able to create really bad, evil monsters which is fun to kill. As i made a wolfe, some kiddies of a Father daid: Daddy can we have one?
I am not sure, how this is going on. Building 3D-content has become a great fun for me, and along this - doing it for 2 years, the original intention has faded. Alot of thinking has to be done, before i start a new project. |

Hey harper, you are not alone (as far as the Freeworld is concerned). Make a wish and check your e-mail... |

I certainly hope you'll be able to get your copy of Freeworld3D up and running again, as it would be a shame to see you quit your excellent work. Have you checked your email yet? Was moraldi able to help you out? I certainly do hope so! _________________ Check out Figuro, our online 3D app! More powerful 3D tools for free. |

Hi, Jeroen
You are giving me the chance to say that the DeleD team has been proved professional, because when you realized that you don't have the time to support a commercial product (the DeleD), you didn't ignore the base of your clients. The DeleD has gone in Open Source and it is still alive. I don't know how long will be, but it is the most important thing you could do for us.
I never regretted it for the purchase of DeleD though I am a fanatic user of Silo due to its easy of use.
In contrast with some other guys around the Internet, which they don't have the time even for a simple announcement or stopping the operation of their web site...
BTW: Do you have future plans for a new product in CG in general? |

Looking at the 'monster' there are a couple of simple things you can do to make it more fierce.
1) All predators have forward facing eyes, not on the sides of the head, they also have high brows, not flat like yours. It is the sight of an animal looking directly at you with both eyes that triggers our instincts to run, simply because you know it is you they are looking at.
2) Give the monster some claws on the feet. _________________ Politeness is priceless when received, cost nothing to own or give, yet some cannot afford.

Hi dear DeleD-community,
it has happened what i have feared: Soconne/Freeworld3D is offline.
So no chance to get it up and running after re-installing.
Thanx to Moraldi, but it doesn't work with your help.
So i have to get a new orientation, what to do with all my unfinished work.
Maybe i get familiar with one of the free game-engines/editors.
My best scenario would be, someone has a game-template where i can put my little world in, minimal to walk around in,
but maybe its possible to make some kind of game with thar stuff.
We will see.
But if nothing like this will happen, i can arrange my models to share
them in Nocturn's model-exchange or something else.
Although i would prefer to "hold it together".
So, if someone has an idea, you're welcome! |
