I think this is the most detailed model I've ever made.
In DeleD:
The water wheel
Inside view from the doorway
The Generator
In Torque:
Water Wheel
Another view of the wheel
and yet, one more

Now all I have to do is to figure out how to animate that wheel, get water to fall off the blades, and fill the buckets.

Looking good Trucker. Very Happy

To animate the wheel, you could make a skeleton with 2 joints. The base-joint is positioned in the middle of the wheel and its childjoint is at the edge of the wheel. The childjoint is only there to show the skeleton being rotated in an animation (see below).

Assign all vertices of the wheel to the basejoint.

Then create an animation for the skeleton.

Select the first frame and make it a keyframe by using the animation menu.

Select the last frame. Select the basejoint and rotate it by 360 degrees (you have to use the mouse for this - the input fields don't work for animation yet). This frame becomes a keyframe too now.

That's it. Press the play button to see the wheel rotate. Smile
