I missed out on this until I saw it at Polycount. It didn't stand out until I saw it at polycount for some reason.

It's cool, but the pixelization is too much. Especially at 22 inches, 2 inches from my face.

yeah the pixelization is bad, I might try some better things (also found another flash rendered which appears to render faster, need to take a look at that.

Hey man, very nice work. Very Happy

I looked at the scene in the browser and i must say that it looks very nice. The pixelation is bad, but i guess you've just started this project, so things will probably look better in the future.

One thing i noticed is that zooming in and zooming out permanently changes your viewport (Field-of-view thing, i guess). I don't know alot about flash, but you might want to take a look at this issue.

Keep us informed. Wink

that scrolling this is no issue, it's just something build into that flash platform (it's flash no html).

This is not like a project Im going to work on alot, I just wanted to investigate some browser 3D stuff, I might work on it further but other things come first.

when scrolling you change the "field of vision (vertical angle)" of the camera lens. You can go from orthographic to extreme perspective.

the model, uv's and new texture layout are mine, I just copied the textures from a tileset I got from the internet... they are used by thousands in 2D rpg hobby games.
