my first topic was about an electric keyboard... but now I went to classic stuff an made this piano (it's a reference from the one I own).

Just the "keyboard" left to be done (which could be easily a texture or the keys modelled by me, I'm not sure) and some details (like the chair)

I don't really play the piano, but I learned a bit when I was "younger" (like 7-8 years old Wink ). I actually play the guitar, what remembers me about giving a try to a "guitar" model... not easy for me, though Very Happy

EDIT: I'm the "black sheep" at my house, both my parents and my brother play the piano Razz Wink

Hope you like them ... Very Happy

I just tested with some wood textures -and a mahogany one- but as they aren't that high-resolution type of textures, they look like... well... I think you'll guess what I mean Laughing

It sucks to have dark textures in DeleD because the darker your model gets, the less shading is visible. I tried to make the grand piano black and you can hardly see anything there. Making it a dark gray isn't that much of a solution, it's just the reflection of the light that's missing.

You mean about the dark keys? They're not actually dark grey (not an excuse, I know), I gave them a dark brown color because the ones in my piano aren't black (but now that I see, they don't look dark brown at all). My intention wasn't "cheating" lighting results with a brighter texture shade... if that's what you mean.

You mean about the dark keys?

No, I was talking about the grand piano I made, as stated before.
