Everybody wants everything to be free. But that's not going to happen. The DeleD guys have nicely made a version of DeleD with fewer features available for free, for a long time. That's their decision. They have also made the decision to make more features available, if you pay. So, you pay, or you don't. If you don't pay, then the extra features aren't worth the amount of money, to you -- that's the market forces for you. Your age doesn't matter. Your disposable income might matter, insofar as "food" is probably more important than "Knife feature in DeleD" on the needs scale. |

To keep things clear, when i say that im 100% right with santuatu , i mean "For an argentinean of 14 years old , any piece of software is expensive", and im with you jwatte when you say that if you 'want PRO features buy PRO'. DeleD LITE is pretty amazing on my opinion.
It is true that LITE user we havent the right to ask for more stuff for free.
But i dont think that santuatu was requesting on a bad way.
hope you understand this horribly redacted text. |

fangelico, Your english is fine and quite understandable.
As for the price, DeleD is quite low priced, but even tho my "Youngest" son is the same age as some of the folks here, (you included) I had to save to buy pro. It's worth saving for. I can understand the "$100.00" statement too. It seems that way when you don't have the money.
There is no need for people to get upset. The features in lite are so far past everyone else. Just look at the compo. My gosh. I can't make objects like that in pro. _________________ Some day I will grow up and be a real modeler.

Of course I also think that DeleD worth what here are $150 I didn't wanted to say that it doesn't I just said that for me (and my parents) it's ALOT of money here, if I had had the money I would have bought it months and months ago _________________

I remember saving all of my allowance for a year and a half so I could buy a home computer. I had my heart set on the Commodore VIC-20. And when I finally had saved up enough... they had not yet released it! (Yeah, they had vaporware back then, too ;-)
Fun machine when it finally arrived, though. |
