the texture I'm using is the TGA one mentioned earlier on this thread, converted to JPEG so it is compatible with DeleD Lite. |

I have now tried various other things with that tree texture. Nothing works! My model is always just too transparent (more like a ghost than a tree!) |

OK.
I got the texture and alphablended it. Then i put it on a rectangle and cloned the rectangle 356 times, rotating it one degree each time.
