While it may certainly look cool when taking screenshots i don't see the use for them in DeleD. Because when you export your mesh it depends on what format you're exporting that supports normal maps. ...

Click on the "Object" tab on the right hand side. You'll see a property called "Snap Method". Change this to "Vertex".
